Four Dufferin Nonprofits to Host 2025 Provincial ElectionDebates

Dufferin ON: The Dufferin Board of Trade (DBOT), in partnership with the Orangeville
Food Bank, the Dufferin Federation of Agriculture, and the Greater Dufferin Home
Builders Association, is proud to host the 2025 Provincial Election Debates for the
Dufferin-Caledon riding. These debates provide a vital opportunity for voters to hear
directly from the candidates, learn about their platforms, and make informed decisions
ahead of the upcoming election.
Debate Details
Date: February 18, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Theatre Orangeville
Date: February 20, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Gracie Tipling Hall
Both debates are open to the public, and all residents of Dufferin-Caledon are invited to
attend, engage, and participate in this important democratic process. Questions will be
taken from the floor, allowing voters to directly address candidates on the issues that
matter most to them.
The Orangeville debate will be filmed by Rogers TV, with broadcast details to follow.
Candidate Participation
All candidates who have declared their intention to run in the Dufferin-Caledon riding have been invited to participate in the debates. Should additional candidates enter the race, they will also be invited to take part.

The Dufferin Federation of Agriculture is a dynamic farmer-led organization representing

Agriculture, Canada's largest voluntary farm organization, they advocate on behalf of over 36,000 farm families across Ontario. Their efforts include government relations,
community representation, and media relations to champion the interests of Ontario
Greater Dufferin Home Builders' Association
Since 1986, the Greater Dufferin Home Builders' Association (GDHBA) has been the voice
of the residential construction industry in the region. Committed to residential
construction excellence, they focus on providing affordable quality housing in the Greater Dufferin Area. The association addresses issues such as building permits and regulations, bylaw changes, development application procedures, infrastructure, and serves as a
